2 cups ground white corn to prepare arepas
2 cups water
2 tsp. fine salt 1 tsp. black pepper
2 a. purple Onion 1
pc. carrot 1
pc. corn
½ a. Red pepper
½ a. green pepper
50 gr. mushrooms
c / n olive oil
c / n avocado or guacamole to serve


Place the water in a bowl and add salt and pepper. Add the ground white corn and mix with a spoon until you get a firm dough.
Form balls with our hands and squash them to shape the arepas and set aside.
Cut the red onion, carrot, peppers and mushrooms, and shell the corn.
Preheat the Urban Grill 5 minutes on maximum heat. Add olive oil and sauté the vegetables over medium heat on one half of the piece for approximately 10 minutes.
At the other end of the Grill cook the arepas for 5 minutes on each side until are golden.
Open the arepas and fill them with the grilled vegetables and guacamole or mashed avocado seasoned to taste.
